I'm not sure if this is 100% possible.  But I think the Ellesmere (disontinued model and the current factory doesn't even build them so they don't know much about it).  takes a yellow spectra rope that goes up the dial.  Some of our other Riot Kayaks also use the spectra cord but it's connected to this slider in a skeg box control.
